Arizona Indigenous sacred site, 6,500 years old, damaged by Trump administration’s border wall
A 6,500-year-old Indigenous sacred site in Arizona has been damaged during construction of the Trump administration’s border wall. A roughly 50-foot-wide corridor cuts through part of a 272-foot-long geoglyph in the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge. The ancient figure predates Egypt’s first pyramid by around 2,000 years, raising concerns over the loss of Indigenous cultural heritage.
