Police seek indictment of Hybe's Bang Si-hyuk over investor fraud
South Korean police are seeking charges against Hybe chairperson Bang Si-hyuk for alleged investor fraud. He is accused of misleading investors in 2019 before Hybe's initial public offering. Police referred Bang and four others to prosecutors for alleged capital markets act violations. Bang's legal team stated he denies any wrongdoing and expects a transparent resolution. Prosecutors previously rejected arrest requests, asking for further investigation into the matter.
