Muslim divorce pronounced privately can still be formally declared by court: Allahabad HC
A high court ruled family courts must declare divorce for undisputed private talaq. The court stated such declarations are within family court powers. A couple's marriage breakdown led to a husband's talaq pronouncement. The wife acknowledged receiving all talaq notices and did not dispute it. The high court set aside the family court's dismissal and decreed the divorce.
