'No need to respond in advance': Canadian PM Mark Carney rules out retaliatory tariffs before Aug 19
Canada will not retaliate in advance against proposed US tariffs, preferring negotiations. Prime Minister Mark Carney stated that premature action would be counterproductive at this stage.
