Matt Damon's path to becoming a global water advocate was sparked by a life-changing visit to a village in Zambia. This experience led him to establish the H2O Africa Foundation, focused on highlighting the urgent issues surrounding water scarcity. In partnership with Gary White, they founded Water.org, broadening their impact, which has since helped around 92 million individuals access safe water and sanitation.
