Tear gas, water cannon, clashes: France hit by third weekend of protests
Nationwide protests in France attracted an estimated 320,000 participants voicing concerns over rising living costs and government policies. Fresh clashes erupted between police and protesters in Paris, leading to the use of tear gas. While many protests were peaceful, some demonstrators engaged in violent confrontations with security forces. Participants included a coalition of youth organisations seeking change regarding economic inequality and public services.
