Bombay HC grants 'Ramayana' dynamic injunction
The Bombay High Court granted an interim injunction against copyright infringement for 'Ramayana: Rise of a Legend'. Godpower Media Private Limited sought protection for the film's script, characters, and recordings. Justice Madhav Jamdar recognized the risk of unauthorized distribution ahead of the film's release on November 5. The injunction covers unknown entities and mandates internet platforms to block infringing content. The court will hear the matter again on December 16.
