RBI clears ICICI Pru’s 9.95% AU Bank bet
The Reserve Bank of India has approved ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company’s proposal to acquire an aggregate stake of up to 9.95% in AU Small Finance Bank.The approval is for acquiring up to 9.95% of the paid-up share capital or voting rights of the bank, AU Small Finance Bank said in a regulatory filing on Wednesday.The bank said it received the RBI’s approval letter dated September 8, 2026.The approval covers ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company, along with schemes of ICICI Pruden…
