In her latest critique, author Shobhaa De expressed her dissatisfaction with the recent Mirzapur film, noting that she struggled to stay awake through its drawn-out duration. While she commended the standout performances from Ravi Kishan and Ali Fazal, she criticized Pankaj Tripathi’s role for lacking freshness. De also pointed out the film's over-the-top violence and the surprising inclusion of intimate moments that seemed out of place.
