Sebi has imposed interim restrictions on Rajesh Exports and its promoter Rajesh Mehta for alleged financial misrepresentation. The regulator found issues regarding the reported consolidated revenue of ₹15.4 lakh crore. Rajesh Exports' standalone revenue reported by its subsidiary Valcambi SA was significantly lower at ₹3,027.3 crore. Despite opportunities to respond, the company and promoter failed to adequately rebut Sebi’s preliminary findings.
