Rajkumar Periyasamy pens emotional note after National Award win
Rajkumar Periyasamy received the National Award for Best Director for his film Amaran. This prestigious honour was a lifelong dream for the filmmaker since starting his career. He dedicated the Golden Lotus to Major Mukund Varadarajan's family and all soldiers. Amaran also won awards for Best Background Score and Best Editing. The film, based on Major Varadarajan's life, has garnered significant national acclaim.
