At no point did government stop students from protesting: Nirmala Sitharaman
The government allowed student protests and focused on conducting the NEET re-examination promptly. Culprits involved in paper leaks were arrested and brought before the judicial process. A timely re-examination prevented a year's academic disruption for students. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned after the successful re-examination process.
