Meet Monika Arya, who fought for education and now helps tribal children
Monika Arya’s journey from a village in Uttar Pradesh to working with tribal children in Jharkhand is rooted in her own interrupted education. After facing family resistance to college and spending nearly 12 years away from formal studies, she returned to complete her MSc. In 2021, she founded Sambhav Trust in Khunti, focusing on education, child protection, scholarships, career guidance and safe migration to help vulnerable children remain in school and build better futures.
