Niki Walia reveals she was first approached for Shefali Shah's role in 'Dil Dhadakne Do'
Actress Niki Walia disclosed that she was originally selected for a role in Dil Dhadakne Do, having completed multiple readings and getting her passport ready for the project. She noted that director Zoya Akhtar arranged for her flight from the UK to participate in casting. Walia admitted that a creative decision resulted in Shefali Shah replacing her, lamenting the chance she missed to embody the character in the film.
