Colorado woman protects 18,484 acres of family ranch once listed for $100 million
A Colorado woman has permanently protected 18,484 acres of her family's cattle ranch, once listed for $100 million, from future development. Susan Nottingham's decision preserves land her parents spent over 60 years assembling, along with historic water rights linked to the Colorado River. The agreement also protects wildlife habitats while allowing the ranch to continue agricultural operations.
