US immigration authority has a 10-day deadline on home address
USCIS has issued a reminder for immigrants to report changes of address within 10 days of moving. Failing to do so may result in missed notices and delays in immigration cases. Changing addresses with the USPS does not automatically update records with USCIS. Immigrants are encouraged to use the online self-service change-of-address tool for a timely update. Paper forms can be submitted, but online updates are recommended for efficiency.
