Indian stock market value drops below $5 trillion as oil prices surge & US bond yields climb
Mumbai: A sharp sell-off in Indian equities on Tuesday, triggered by crude oil prices surging above $100 a barrel and United States bond yields climbing above 5%, pushed the combined market value of companies listed on the BSE below $5 trillion to a three-month low.
