Julius Baer net new money beats expectations, but de-risking clouds outlook
Julius Baer reported net new money inflows of 5.7 billion Swiss francs in the first half of 2026, beating expectations despite a slow start to the year. However, shares of the Swiss private bank fell over 4% as it warned that ongoing de-risking efforts and a revised risk and compliance framework would continue to weigh on growth through 2027.
