Apple says farewell to Tim Cook with OneRepublic, tributes from Steve Jobs' wife
Apple hosted a farewell party for Tim Cook at Apple Park on Sunday, with OneRepublic performing in the courtyard and tributes from Laurene Powell Jobs, Jeff Williams, Eddy Cue and successor John Ternus. About 200 people attended, mostly employees, Cook, famously private, acknowledged his partner Mike by name. He becomes executive chairman on September 1 as Ternus takes over as Apple CEO after 15 years of Cook's leadership.
