BSE enters Nifty 50: Stock drops 4% after Goldman Sachs, BNP Paribas sell shares worth Rs 2,186 crore
On their debut in the Nifty 50 index, BSE shares saw a significant decline of about 4%. This drop was influenced by Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas offloading more than 68 lakh shares. In a bid to stabilize the situation, UTI Mutual Fund and Nippon India Mutual Fund collectively bought roughly 52.43 lakh shares.
