‘Our seas, our land’: Sri Lanka assures India against hostile acts from its territory
Sri Lankan President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has stressed that his country will not allow its territory for hostile actions. He reiterated the commitment to a non-aligned foreign policy amid the US-Iran conflict and rejected military requests from both sides. Dissanayake emphasized humanitarian assistance will be provided if needed. Security cooperation with India was also reaffirmed during a recent meeting with Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
