US stock market today: Wall Street drifts in mixed trading; oil prices rise another 3%
The S&P 500 slipped 0.2%, despite a majority of its constituent stocks trading higher. Artificial intelligence-related stocks have remained the key driver of recent market volatility. Micron Technology declined 1.6% after rallying 14.4% over the previous two trading sessions, a move that had almost fully recovered its 13.3% decline from the prior week. Even after the latest pullback, the stock remains up nearly 235% so far this year.
