The outspoken Cristiano Ronaldo supporter called the campaign “the most arrogant” bragging in sports and used Messi’s international retirement to argue Ronaldo’s superior 146-goal record settles the debate. Despite their rivalry, Ronaldo recently sent Messi a supportive message following his father’s death.
