Salman Khan's 'Ramayana' was shelved due to Sohail's relationship with Pooja Bhatt
In the 1990s, Salman Khan was poised to portray Lord Ram in Sohail Khan's ambitious Ramayana film, with Sonali Bendre set to play Sita. The project, which had made significant progress, ultimately faced production challenges due to familial disapproval linked to Sohail Khan's relationship with Pooja Bhatt. As a result, the film was abandoned after about forty percent of it had been completed.
