Oil falls as US crude inventories rise despite Saudi supply concerns
Oil prices fell sharply on Wednesday after a surprising increase in U.S. crude inventories. Compounding the situation, Saudi Arabia decided to suspend loadings at the Yanbu port in the wake of an East-West pipeline attack, heightening concerns about global supply. Protests in Libya also led to some oil field operations being disrupted; however, Libya's oil production remains relatively stable despite these issues.
