‘Harry Potter’ joins 'Game Of Thrones' as one of most expensive series
HBO's upcoming adaptation of 'Harry Potter' is reported to have an estimated budget of USD 201 million. The series will rank among the most expensive productions ever, increased by new financial filings. Production company Plum Jam Productions shows significant revenue growth as work on the first season begins. Each of the eight episodes could cost about GBP 18.8 million while HBO commits to more seasons.
