Meta has ‘extraordinary’ targets for Mark Zuckerberg, and shareholders get free stock
Meta will give shareholders free Class C shares each time its stock doubles and compounds at least 10% a year, targets the company calls "extraordinary." The non-voting Class C shares let CEO Mark Zuckerberg sell stock without losing control, and help him cover California's Prop 40 billionaire tax. Zuckerberg has committed to stay in California for eight years, while Meta plans to use the shares to fund its AI push.
