Global Market: Japanese bond yields rise as BOJ rate hike bets keep markets on edge
Japan’s government bond yields rose on Monday as investors turned cautious ahead of the five-year JGB auction and reassessed expectations for further Bank of Japan rate hikes. Super-long yields rebounded after last week’s sharp decline, while markets continued to price in a 25-basis-point BOJ rate hike next week and another increase by January.
