Smart border grid plan to be first implemented in Bengal: Amit Shah
Union home minister Amit Shah announced plans for impregnable borders using smart technology. This project will first be implemented at the grassroots level in Bengal. He reviewed advanced technologies and laid foundation stones for border security projects. The government is expediting fencing work and deploying triple-layer fencing in sensitive areas. Local police will assist BSF in curbing border crimes and smuggling.
