NYC Mayor Mamdani hires 'tech crew': Here's what they will actually do
New York City has opened applications for a new kind of government job. Mayor Zohran Mamdani is hiring software engineers, product designers, user researchers and data experts for Public Interest Technology Crews—around 30 full-time roles across four teams, backed by $5.24 million in the city budget.
