A new NCERT Class 9 textbook highlights the judiciary as an impartial institution safeguarding rights, months after the Supreme Court's strong objection to a Class 8 textbook's section on alleged judicial corruption. The Supreme Court had previously called the earlier content a conspiracy to defame the judiciary, leading to its withdrawal and a ban on its creators, which was subsequently lifted.
