US Army ring lost in 2006 found in another soldier’s footlocker; returned to owner 20 years later
In a touching tale of serendipity, a silver US Army ring lost for twenty years has been reunited with its owner, Terry Sheppard Jr. Found by Mary Thelen in her son's footlocker, she took it upon herself to track him down. Douglas, who served in Iraq, probably misplaced it while stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
