AR Murugadoss ends years of speculation on his political films with Vijay
Director AR Murugadoss clarified his films Kaththi and Sarkar were not political. He stated these movies were created to tell meaningful stories reflecting social concerns. Murugadoss explained Kaththi's idea originated early in his career after Ramana. He mentioned Thuppakki was action, Kaththi focused on farmers, and Sarkar on elections. These subjects were relevant to society and the stories he wanted to tell.
