Govt reconstitutes CBFC board: Preity Zinta, Pankaj Tripathi among 18 members
In a significant reshuffle, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry has revamped the Central Board of Film Certification. The freshly formed eighteen-member board features esteemed figures from the entertainment industry, including actors Preity Zinta and Suniel Shetty. Their tenure is expected to last three years unless additional directions are issued. Meanwhile, Excel Entertainment is taking proactive steps by voluntarily swapping out a song from the Mirzapur series.
