'What is going on inside EC?' Ministers, BJP allies call on poll body to clarify SIR row
Union Minister HD Kumaraswamy on Saturday urged the Election Commission to clarify reports of differences among its members amid the SIR controversy. His remarks came a day after three NDA allies — LJP(RV), RLM and TDP — also sought greater transparency from the poll panel. Reports of internal objections by Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi have intensified political scrutiny, while the ECI maintains that final SIR decisions were unanimous.
