'Supergirl' opens to Rs 1.40 cr amid 'Welcome to the Jungle' clash
Supergirl's Indian debut saw a modest opening, collecting Rs 1.40 crore net on its first day. The English version led the collections, while Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu releases followed. The film faced strong competition from Akshay Kumar's 'Welcome To The Jungle,' which had a significantly larger opening. Globally, 'Supergirl' had a more promising start, earning USD 13 million on its opening day.
