Mahesh Bhatt's romance with Lorraine ended with relationship with Parveen Babi
Pooja Bhatt shared that the film Aashiqui drew inspiration from her parents' teenage love story. Her mother was in an orphanage and her father jumped a wall to meet her. He took responsibility for her after she was expelled from school. Mahesh Bhatt later confessed to his affair with Parveen Babi to Lorraine. Despite separation, Mahesh and Lorraine maintained mutual respect and her blessing.
