After becoming a mother at a young age and facing widowhood, she pursued multiple job opportunities for survival. With the help of the Azad Foundation’s Women on Wheels initiative, she acquired vital driving skills, eventually becoming Kolkata's groundbreaking Pink Cab driver, thus paving the way for women in the transport sector.
