Thousands of Himachal teachers launch indefinite hunger strike against School Complex System
Thousands of primary teachers marched to Shimla after a 15-day foot journey. They launched an indefinite relay hunger strike against the new School Complex System. Federation leaders claimed the policy weakened primary education and affected teacher deployment. Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu assured that most demands were accepted. Teachers will continue their agitation until changes are formally notified.
