Kerala govt to investigate alleged lapses in Rs 1.8 crore isolation ward project
Kerala's health minister has initiated an investigation into the discrepancies surrounding the construction of isolation wards. This project, previously approved by former health minister Veena George, has sparked criticism due to inefficiencies. Despite an allocation of Rs 250 crore for 88 wards, only 55 have been completed, with none ready for patient intake. The projects fall short on vital amenities, raising public safety concerns.
