Adani-group owned ACC’s consolidated profit slumps 92% on year in September quarter
ACC reported a significant 92% decline in profit for the September quarter, attributed to lower sales volumes. The company’s profit stood at Rs 93 crore, a sharp drop from Rs 1,119 crore last year. Consolidated revenue also fell by over 5%, reflecting the impact of a supply agreement with Ambuja Cements. Total expenses increased by more than 2%, despite the drop in revenue during this period.
