Kansas couple builds tornado-resistant home from tyres, cans and boxes
In an innovative twist on sustainable living, a couple in Kansas is transforming discarded items into a unique residence. This Earthship features around 1,000 tires and 16,000 aluminum cans, built to endure severe weather, including tornadoes and fires. It will autonomously generate power, harvest rainwater, and process wastewater, demonstrating how waste can be creatively repurposed into a haven.
