13-year-old learns crochet online, makes toys for hospitalised children
Sophie Histed, a thirteen-year-old, crocheted thirty plush toys for children. She learned the skill online and practiced for four years. These handmade toys were donated to the paediatric ward at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital. Hospital staff appreciated the thoughtful gesture and distributed the gifts. Sophie plans to continue her charitable crocheting efforts in the future.
