Nepal avalanche kills 15 workers at Himlung Himal camp, one still missing
An avalanche struck the base camp of Himlung Himal, resulting in the deaths of at least 15 Nepali workers. The workers were preparing for an all-women climbing group that was scheduled to arrive soon. Rescuers recovered the bodies, but one worker remains missing after poor weather hampered operations. The incident has been reported as the deadliest of the autumn climbing season in Nepal.
