Pune man wanted to kill 15,000 with poison pills at Muharram rally in Mumbai, say cops
A 39-year-old man, arrested for allegedly distributing poison-filled pills during a Muharram procession, reportedly arrived in Mumbai two weeks prior and ordered a large quantity of zinc phosphide. Police seized nearly 15,000 pills, believed to be assembled in his hotel room, intended to harm thousands. Two individuals who consumed the pills have come forward, displaying poisoning symptoms.
