How Canada's draft chatbot law stacks up on global scene
Canada's proposed law requiring chatbot providers to protect users from "harmful" content is the latest step by global governments to regulate the sector. There are also many state-level bills, including one passed in New York that would require protections for minors against harmful content as well as so-called "sycophancy" and age verification requirements for chatbots.
