England's lost Atlantis Shipden found beneath North Sea after 700 years
Divers surveying the seabed off Cromer, Norfolk, have mapped 25 manmade structures linked to Shipden, a medieval village swallowed by the North Sea centuries ago. The underwater search is also challenging the long-held belief that Church Rock marks St Peter’s Church, as researchers investigate new evidence about the vanished settlement and changing coastline.
