Panama City school left empty for years is getting a second life
The former Panama City Grammar School will undergo redevelopment into apartments and townhomes. City officials have cleared financial hurdles, waiving fines and providing a grant for the project. Developer Zachary Seymour will purchase the property and begin necessary structural repairs. The agreement mandates completion of critical repairs within one year to preserve the historic structure. Local leaders emphasize saving heritage, especially after Hurricane Michael's significant damage.
