IMA welcomes rank-based system in Neet, seeks safeguards to protect merit
The Indian Medical Association (IMA) on Wednesday called for safeguards to ensure that merit and minimum academic standards are not compromised in postgraduate medical admissions, saying the NMC's proposed shift to a rank-based system for NEET-PG and NEET-SS should not become a means of filling vacant seats at the cost of merit and patient safety.
