Google's appeal against a record €4.34 billion EU fine for abusing its Android dominance has been dismissed by Europe's highest court. The ruling upholds the penalty imposed eight years ago for forcing manufacturers to pre-install Google services. A Google spokesperson said that the judgment failed to take into account its investment to ensure Android remains open, interoperable and free.
